We
reviewed the clinical information and imaging studies of 50 patients with
documented CVST. Imaging modalities included CT, MRI (T1WI, T2WI, FLAIR,
gadolinium enhanced T1WI, gradient echo T2* and diffusion-weighted images
(DWI)), MR venography (3D dynamic contrast-enhanced, 3D contrast-enhanced
time-of-flight (TOF), 2D TOF, 2D phase contrast), and conventional
angiography/venography. The purpose of this exhibit is to demonstrate usual
and unusual findings of cerebral CVST and diagnostic pitfalls.
